Using The Emitter Tool

The emitter tool is an easy way to place emitters on the stage. This has been placed on top of the Ink Well tool. Our user studies show this is one of the least used tools with active Flash users. Flash does not let us add anymore tools, so we had to choose. If this bothers you, you can change this in Edit > Configure Tools Panel.

  1. To use the emitter tool, first select it from the tools panel:

  2. Next, click anywhere on the stage:

  3. That's it! Adding emitters to the stage is very simple. Alternatively, you can just drag the emitters from the components panel, but this is a lot quicker.

Remember: Emitters must be placed on frames following the one that the Partigen component was placed on.
